Terry Murphy - Managing Editor

Terry takes a personal interest in every Elegant Gift Book. He brings together the team of specialists who create these gift books. He is the managing editor, ideas man, project manager, and head of the customer quality 'committee'!

Terry has been creating personal gift books for many years. His interest was aroused when he started to capture family social history through gently directed conversations with older family members. He discovered the wealth of memories that can be unlocked through this approach.

To the delight of the recipients of these early books he could ensure the speech pattern of each person came through the printed word. One grand daughter summed it up... "I could hear Granny talking when I read her story".

From family social history he branched out to create gift books for birthdays and anniversaries and later for welcoming new babies to the world and other special events. Each book has, without exception, exceeded the expectations of the individual or group who clubbed together to create it.

In another life Terry is a publisher of management and leadership processes. He has extensive international business and marketing experience. This knowledge enables him to appreciate and manage the complexities and issues around creating gift books for businesses as an extension of their corporate PR and customer relations programmes.
