Our photographers capture the essence of the book's subject through dozens of beautifully composed and carefully 'art directed' photographs, often taken at a number of locations. To create this book of stunning photographic plates, we involve the recipient of the gift book from the outset. Their story is told through the photographs we take in the locations they choose. The recipient also chooses the times, the locations and the people or animals they wish to include. We do the rest.

Creative direction of photographic masterpieces

Creative direction and post production refinements will be in the experienced and talented hands of Gary Italiaander.

A past chairman of The Creative Portrait Circle, The London Portrait Group and a member of the prestigious European Kodak Gold Circle, Gary has created portraits for an amazing variety of people from every continent, including titled British families, ambassadors, celebrities, and members from every Middle Eastern Royal Family.

In 1994, Gary was invited to provide all portrait services for Harrods where The Italiaander Gallery was based until 1999. Since 2000, a growing number of clients have requested portraits in their own surroundings, a service that allows a more personal approach. Gary now leads a team of specialist photographers.

Gary is known internationally for his creativity and skill as an artist specialising in environmental photographic portraiture, travelling to locations in the UK and abroad, using settings of interest that accurately reflect the lifestyle of the sitter.

Creative artists have been found in many generations of the Italiaander family which originated in 17th century Venice.
